FedEx Spring 2022 Driver Experiential Hiring Program (Toronto)
A Collaboration Between
Fedex Ground is looking for safe, and responsible delivery drivers to distribute and pickup packages all around The Toronto surrounding areas. We’re looking to identify top talent for our delivery driver role. This is full-time position.
We’re interested in using this tool to assess qualifications and long-term interest in the role.
IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THIS PROGRAM YOU MUST:
- Prove your delivery driving experience of 1 year in the last 3 years
- Clean background check.
- Good driving record.
- Drug test clearance.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver’s license.

These are the top skills required of FedEx Drivers:
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Transport and handle dangerous goods
- Perform emergency roadside repairs
- Pay and receive payments for goods
- Perform brake adjustments
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
